Rivra Technologies Inc. (“Rivra”, “we”, “us”) is responsible for the personal information we collect through this website and our waiting-list registration forms, including forms linked from the website. This policy explains what we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights available to you.
Information we collect and why
When you visit our website, we collect technical and usage information such as your IP address, approximate location, browser and device information, pages viewed, visit times, interactions and the website or campaign that referred you. We use this information to operate and secure the website, understand how it is used, improve its performance and measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
If you contact us, we collect the contact details and information you provide to respond to your enquiry. We also keep the information needed to record your privacy choices, handle requests or complaints and meet legal obligations.
When you join our waiting list, we collect registration information, such as your name, email address and phone number, to manage your registration, communicate with you about the waiting list and access to Rivra, and provide support. We use phone numbers for waiting-list communications and, with your marketing consent, text messages about Rivra and its services. With your marketing consent, we also use your contact details to send communications about Rivra and its services, as described below.
Communications and marketing choices
We may contact you about your registration, requested access and support. With your marketing consent, we may also send news, product updates, practical tips, offers, events and invitations about Rivra and its services. These communications may be sent by email and, where you consent to text marketing, by text message. Marketing communications may continue until you unsubscribe. Marketing consent is optional and is not a condition of waiting-list registration.
You can unsubscribe using the instructions in our marketing communications or contact privacy@rivra.io. You can also contact us to leave the waiting list. Unsubscribing from marketing does not by itself stop communications needed to provide a service you have requested. Permission for marketing emails or text messages does not by itself give permission for optional tracking.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. We use cookies and similar technologies to support website functionality and security, remember privacy choices and understand visits and interactions. Some technologies recognise visits using browser and device information rather than cookies.

Advertising providers may receive technical information, online identifiers and activity information and may combine this with information they already hold to measure and personalise advertising.

How we share information
We share relevant technical and usage information with providers supporting website hosting, security, analytics and privacy-choice management. Providers supporting registration and our business communications may process your registration details, contact information and correspondence so we can manage the waiting list and communicate with you. We require providers handling information on our behalf to protect it and limit its use to the authorised purposes. Advertising-related sharing is described above.
Authorised staff and contractors may access information as needed for their work. We may also disclose information where required or otherwise permitted by law. We do not sell personal information.
Processing outside Canada
Our service providers may store or process personal information outside Canada for website operation, registration, analytics, security and communications. Information processed abroad may be accessible to courts, law enforcement or other authorities under foreign laws.

Retention and protection
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy and applicable legal requirements. This includes responding to enquiries, managing registrations, communicating with you, carrying out marketing with your consent, honouring your choices, maintaining security and handling requests, complaints or disputes.
When information is no longer needed, we securely dispose of it or make it genuinely anonymous. We retain the minimum suppression information needed to honour an unsubscribe.
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information and its sensitivity, and limit access to authorised purposes.
Your rights and choices
You may ask to access your personal information, correct an inaccuracy, obtain information about its use or disclosure, withdraw consent where applicable, request deletion or make a complaint by contacting privacy@rivra.io.
We may need to verify your identity and clarify your request. We respond within applicable legal time limits and explain any lawful restriction, extension or information that must be retained. We will also explain any consequences of withdrawing consent.
If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta, as applicable.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website and registration practices change. We will make the updated policy available here, highlight material changes and obtain further consent where required before introducing the affected processing.
